Yes. Maven has developed programs exclusively for parents who are growing their families through adoption or surrogacy. Once you enroll in Family Support with Maven, choose the adoption or surrogacy program for help navigating this journey. Support is available from the day of program enrollment to six months after your baby is born or your adoptive child is placed with you.

Yes—for support during this challenging time, Maven has developed a program exclusively for parents who have experienced a loss. If you wish to continue using Maven to help you navigate this journey, please switch your program within the app or message your Maven Care Advocate for specialized support. The loss program is available for three months.
Maven is a virtual clinic, available from a mobile device or computer, that provides access to top-quality women's and family health specialists. Enrollment offers 24/7 support for people who are either on a family building journey; parents of children up to 5 years of age; or experiencing menopause. Everything Maven has to offer is available to you and your eligible family members at no cost to you.
You can use the program for parenting and pediatric support up until your child’s 5th birthday. With Maven, you can access pediatric providers 24/7 including pediatricians, sleep coaches, special needs specialists, childcare consultants, and more. You can also speak with parenting coaches and attend classes like Child CPR and How to help your child with emotional regulation.
Maven’s platform provides users with 24/7/365 access to providers who specialize in the menopause journey, including OB-GYNs, reproductive endocrinologists, physical therapists, career coaches, mental health providers, and more. Use the program for early detection of symptoms, guidance on menopause treatments, sleep and wellness coaches to help mitigate symptoms, and career coaches who can help you navigate how menopause is impacting you at work.
To participate in Maven's Family Support or Menopause & Ongoing Care program, an employee must be full-time or part-time working 20 or more hours per week and enrolled in a national Bank of America medical plan with Aetna, Anthem or UnitedHealthcare. If you meet the criteria above and your spouse, partner or dependent(s) are covered under your bank medical plan, they are eligible to participate in either program as well.

Family Support with Maven offers programs for every stage of becoming a parent and beyond. After you enroll, you will choose which program you would like to begin.
Maven partners with clinics across the country. Your Care Advocate can assist you in finding a clinic and booking your appointments.
Your covered spouse, partner or dependent can enroll by entering their first and last name, and date of birth, and your Bank of America work email address at registration. Following the creation of their account, your covered spouse, partner or dependent can make changes to their personal profile information and maintain a fully independent and confidential member experience within their own account.
If you leave Bank of America while enrolled in the program, you will continue to have access to your active Maven program until the conclusion of the program track.
Yes, Maven can connect you with reputable surrogacy agencies. Your dedicated Maven Care Advocate will work with you to determine any preferences or constraints and build you a customized referral list.
Yes. You can enroll in Maven’s preconception program and learn more about all paths to parenthood, plus discuss ways to stay healthy mentally and physically while trying to conceive. Maven can help you learn more about your options, access fertility specialists and OB-GYNs who can answer have your questions, and find in-person care. If you decide to seek fertility treatments, make sure to book your appointments through Maven to receive partner discounts. You’ll receive six months of full access to fertility support from the day of enrollment. If you don’t conceive within six months of signing up, you can renew your subscription.
A person experiencing perimenopause or menopausal symptoms, who may benefit from guidance on menopause treatments, ways to mitigate symptoms, navigating how menopause is impacting their life, sleep, work, etc., and/or other related support.
Yes. You can access the user community for support and book appointments with fertility and mental health specialists at any time.
Once you enroll in a Maven program, you’ll receive a personal Care Advocate. Your Maven Care Advocate is available 24/7 to answer questions, recommend the best providers for your needs, and help you understand your benefits.
- Preconception program
12-month renewable offering; promotes overall health literacy for individuals of reproductive age, particularly around fertility and pregnancy.
- Fertility program
12-month program; guides members through the difficult journey of undergoing fertility treatment including education of the fertility treatment process, help with choosing a high-quality fertility clinic, emotional support, and more. If you become pregnant, you can either switch from the fertility program to the maternity program within the app or message your Maven Care Advocate. In the maternity program, you’ll be able to work with the same care team you used during fertility treatments. If you do not conceive within twelve months of signing up, you are able to renew the subscription to continue to access Maven’s services.
- Egg freezing program
12-month program; guides members through the considerations and process of egg or sperm freezing, helps them choose a clinic, and provides emotional support along the way.
- Maternity program
21-month offering (9 months of pregnancy, 12 months postpartum); end-to-end program supporting expecting mothers and fathers during pregnancy and through the underserved postpartum and return-to-work periods, driving positive outcomes for families and employers.
- Loss support
Available from day of program enrollment for three months. If you’ve experienced a loss, you can access Maven’s loss support program by selecting it within the app or by reaching out to your Maven Care Advocate.
- Adoption program
24-month program; fills gaps in support for individuals navigating the adoption process.
- Surrogacy program
24-month program; fills gaps in support for individuals navigating the surrogacy process.
- Parenting and pediatrics program
12-month renewable program; integrated coaching for parents and specialized virtual pediatric support. You can enroll in the parenting and pediatrics program if you have a child under the age of 5 years old.
Enroll in the menopause program at the onsite of symptoms and benefit from early detection. The program is a 12-month program, available for annual renewal throughout your menopause journey.
On the Maven website and app, you can video chat or message with practitioners to get immediate personal support from fertility, egg freezing, pregnancy, adoption, surrogacy, pediatric, menopause, and return-to-work specialists day or night, at no cost.
You can connect with Your Care Advocate, as well as connect with others who are on similar journeys, through Maven practitioner-moderated community forums, and drop-in groups. Browse the forums, post questions, and start conversations about topics that are important to you.

No. You can book unlimited virtual appointments with the Maven network of practitioners for the duration of your enrollment period.
Yes. Maven support is a complement to in-person care, providing immediate support, anytime. It’s not a replacement for your OB-GYN.
If you don’t have an in-person OB-GYN or are looking to switch, your Maven Care Advocate can provide you with personalized recommendations for in-person care, taking into account your insurance coverage and any specialty preferences you have to provide recommendations from a database of highly vetted OB-GYNs and midwives.
Enrollment is bank-sponsored, so you can access Maven at no cost to you if you’re enrolled in a national bank medical plan and otherwise eligible.
Maven programs aren't currently offered to employees living outside the U.S. However, U.S.-based employees can access Maven while traveling abroad.
Yes, Maven provides services to people of all sexual orientations and gender identities. The Maven practitioners can provide support for LGBTQIA+ health questions and the Care Advocates can provide personalized recommendations.
All Maven appointments are conducted virtually. However, if you’re looking for an in-person provider, please inform your Care Advocate and you will be matched with a doctor from the Maven database of highly rated practitioners.

Yes, by a practitioner with prescribing authority.
All practitioner applicants undergo a thorough vetting process which includes a detailed resume review, a graded specialty test and case study, background and reference checks, and an interview with Maven’s team. Please contact support@mavenclinic.com if you have questions about the practitioner vetting process.
Maven does not record video sessions, so any information you share with a Maven practitioner during your appointment will stay between you and that practitioner. Maven implements industry-leading encryption and data security practices to ensure the security of your personal health data.
